This is a deep shape to make a small sink for a guest bathroom. The diameter of the finished washbasin is approx. 30 cm, the depth is approx. 11 cm. The basin is typically combined with a glass or marble table. The hole for the pipe is best drilled after slumping. This elegant shape can also be used very well for objects. If you grind the base lightly, the basin stays straight and still seems to float. The shape is also well suited for a table lamp or a chandelier. The steep angle of the mold can result in an uneven slumping. Reposition the slumped object and fire it a second time. Or reposition it during the slumping process directly. Tolerances of ceramic molds are production-related.
