With this mold you can create casting patterns from frits, broken sheet glass or other small elements without having to cast a fire-proof mold beforehand. The smooth inside of the shape gives the finished object a shiny surface. The shape is also ideal for pre-melting elements from frits etc. for further use in fusing or casting work. Special notes: Cold machining of the edges with a diamond pad may be necessary. If the temperature is reduced to a lower temperature (approx. 720 ° C), the object shrinks less and has a "sugary" appearance that resembles pate-de-verre. Tolerances of ceramic molds are production-related.
