We define opalescent glass with a predominantly opal glass content as dense. The reference here is the 305s-F white cloudy dense. This glass is opaque. You cannot see the background through this glass. Light, however, makes the glass glow. Besides luminaire construction, mosaic is a classic application for this glass category.
