With our photovoltaic system, we harness the power of the sun to meet part of our own energy needs. This makes us less dependent on rising electricity prices whilst investing in a sustainable and cost-effective energy supply.

For us, the solar power system is more than just technology – it is a key component of our corporate strategy. We are reducing our operating costs in the long term, ensuring stable and predictable energy prices, and at the same time strengthening our competitiveness.

If our electricity consumption ever exceeds our supply, we top it up with 100% green electricity.

In our day-to-day operations, we combine efficiency with responsibility – and make sustainability an integral part of our corporate culture.

It starts first thing in the morning with a conscious choice: our fair-trade coffee not only provides energy, but also supports fair working conditions worldwide. This allows us to start every day on a positive note.

We also set a clear example in our logistics processes. Wherever possible, we prefer sea freight to air freight – an important step towards reducing emissions and conserving resources. At the same time, we ensure that processes are planned intelligently so that sustainability and reliability go hand in hand.

Another key focus is our ongoing journey towards a paperless office. Digital processes help us work more efficiently, save resources and remain flexible at the same time. Every printout saved is a small but significant contribution to the environment.

Last but not least, we give packaging materials a second life: reusing cardboard boxes is second nature to us. In this way, we reduce waste and make the best possible use of available resources.

All these measures demonstrate that sustainability is not an afterthought for us, but an integral part of our daily operations – responsible, well-considered and forward-looking.

We try to ‘sell’ even the very last shard
